Rajasthan Government just launched its most awaited free rscit course scheme for the female candidate of Rajasthan state for the session year 2021. What is the free RSCIT Course Scheme for female
Now women and girls can apply for the free rscit course for session 2021. The department of women and child development (WCD), the government of Rajasthan introduced a free computer literacy program RSCIT for all the female candidates of Rajasthan state. It is a unique and free computer course available only for Rajasthan state female students. Rajasthan Government launched this free basic computer course for each and every woman as well as girl candidates of the age group between 16 to 40.
Eligibility to Enroll in FREE RSCIT COURSE for the Year 2021
- To enroll in free rscit course girls or women candidates age must between 16 to 40 years.

Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Mahila Shakti Yojana Rajasthan
Rajasthan govt. is going to launch Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Mahila Shakti Yojana which is dedicated to women. Under this scheme, govt. will support women entrepreneurs, provide skill development training, education, and rehabilitate women. Rajasthan govt. will start Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Mahila Shakti Yojana (IM Shakti) dedicated to women empowerment. CM Ashok Gehlot has allocated Rs. 1,000 crore for this scheme in Rajasthan. Under Indira Mahila Shakti Yojana, women will be supported for setting up enterprises, assistance for modern research to be provided. Moreover, women will get training for skill development and education to create awareness.
Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Training & Skill Promotion scheme provides free computer training for Women. This government scheme will help women to live a respectable life. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will start the Free Computer Training Scheme for Women. Women will be empowered by the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Training and Skill Enhancement Scheme as well as they will be linked to employment opportunities.
This step of the Rajasthan Government will not only provide support to the women candidates but will also open the way for employment and women will again be able to walk shoulder to shoulder in society. This initiative by the government is very good.
What is the RSCIT Course:-
RSCIT Course (Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology) is a basic computer course that covers windows, Microsoft Office-2010, and internet applications.
RSCIT Course is an essential qualification for many state government jobs. So this is a golden opportunity for females to get enrolled in the free course. Its duration is 3 Months (132 Hours Training).
How to Apply-
Online Applications are invited by Govt. of Rajasthan to enroll in RSCIT training for women and girls. Free course program managed and organized by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Ltd. (RKCL) by its IT Gyan Kendra. The Last date for Online Application 31-01-2021. The application form can be submitted to the IT Gyan Kendra of RKCL in your city or at Atal Seva Kendra( Panchayat Samiti ) or at any e-Mitra center.
While applying online application candidates have to choose and select two IT GK i.e. computer institute for training forthcoming rscit course.

Required Documents-
While submitting online applications you must take the required documents attested photocopy with you. In Udaipur, you can submit your application form at Career Planet Computer Education, Sector-5, Udaipur.
- 2 passport size photographs
- Aadhar Card Photocopy
- Minimum education qualification- 10thMarksheet (for age proof)
- Highest education qualification mark sheet
- Caste certificate (if applicable in case of SC / ST)
- For age verification, the tenth mark sheet or birth certificate should
- There should be a class 10 mark sheet for the RS-CIT course
- Death Certificate of the husband in Vidyava case
- Divorce certificate in the case of divorce
- An Anganwadi worker should submit their identity card
Selection Process-
All online applications are collected by the department of women and child development, Govt. of Rajasthan, and RKCL’s regional head prepare a merit list for selected candidates. Merit list based on educational qualifications and different criteria given at the official website of the department. District wise shortlisted candidate gets informed by SMS by the department.
In this free rscit course, first of all, widow/divorced or violence-affected women candidates will be get priority in selection. After that, the Anganwadi worker gets priority.
All the female candidate selection purely based on their highest education qualification marks.
Applicable Reservation-
18% reservation for SC and 14% reservation for ST female candidates in the selection process.
Batch Timing-
After selection, there are only two batch slots available for this free course-
- Morning from 11 AM to 1 PM.
- Evening 3 PM to 5 PM (every working day)
So the candidate is requested that before applying for an online application please confirm your available times. Please note that these are the only two batch timing for the students, no other timing will be allotted.

Things to remember-
- It is compulsory to mark your attendance using a biometric device at your learning center that is RKCL’s ITGK.
- Students who have done this course (rscit) earlier free or paid, cannot apply for this course again.
- The last day of admission is 31.01.2021
- RSCIT course is an essential qualification for almost every state government job.
In CM Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Training and Skill Enhancement Scheme, the following topics will be taught in the computer courses offered to women as follows:
- Basic computer in which small tasks are done starting from how to start the computer and shutting down.
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Word in which how to type any document, how to print, etc.
- Microsoft Excel- Logical and arithmetic calculation
- Computer networks, computer management systems, the internet, security, etc.
The Women’s Empowerment Department will start this scheme (Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Training and Skill Enhancement in Rajasthan) on the one year anniversary of the government. Under which 75 thousand girls of the state will be provided free computer courses. The government will incur an additional expenditure of about 20 crores in this scheme. Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Training and Skill Promotion Scheme Course duration will be for three months.
In CM Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Training and Skill Promotion Scheme, two courses will be conducted, the first one is RSCIT (Rajasthan State Certificate of Information Technology) which will have a basic computer course. For which it is necessary to have 10 passes.
